Coaching Staff

Head Coach:  Alan Berrios

Berrios, who is currently the head coach of Northern Arizona University’s women’s soccer team, will continue in that role while also taking on his responsibilities with Desert Dreams F.C.

Since becoming head coach at N.A.U. in 2022, Berrios has made history by leading the team to both the regular season and conference tournament championships in his first season, making him the only coach in N.A.U. soccer history to achieve this feat.  The Lumberjacks went on to compete in the national tournament, where they were eliminated by the eventual national champions, U.C.L.A.

Berrios also led Southeastern University in Florida to the same double — winning both the regular season and tournament championships.

With over 25 years of coaching experience at both the NCAA and NAIA levels, as well as significant success at the club level early in his career, Berrios brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.  His strong local connections are further demonstrated by his previous experience as the head men’s and women’s soccer coach at Arizona Christian University.
