STRIKER ELITE SOCCER’S GEORGE NAHORSKI NAMED ASSISTANT COACH

Striker Elite Soccer Founder Adds Women’s Premier Soccer League Coaching Job to Existing Duties; and

 

Desert Dreams F.C. Kicks Off Inaugural Season This Summer at Peoria Sports Complex  Following the Cactus League Season When the Stadium Field Will Transition Into a Soccer Configuration.

 

Desert Dreams F.C., the new Women’s Premier Soccer League expansion team based in the West Valley, has named George Nahorski as the club’s inaugural season Assistant Head Coach.  He joins a staff lead by Head Coach Alan Berrios, who is currently the head coach of Northern Arizona University’s women’s soccer team, and will continue in that role while also taking on his new responsibilities with Desert Dreams F.C.

 

Nahorski is an accomplished former player, including playing NCAA Division One at the University of Louisville where he led the team in both goals and assists his freshman year.  In addition, he has trained in Europe with the world famous Ajax Academy.

 

Following his successful playing career, Nahorski went into coaching where he is currently the Founder & Owner of Striker Elite Soccer which offers private, small group & team training, plus elite camps.  Most notably, Striker Elite Soccer has previously teamed up with U.S. Women’s National Team legend Carli Lloyd on multiple one-off events that provide young players with first-hand experience of working with Lloyd.  More information on Striker Elite Soccer can be found on Instagram at @strikerelitesoccer.

 

In addition, Nahorski produces the Striker Elite 2.0 podcast featuring valuable content for athletes, coaches and parents in the form of important conversations taking place around sport, life and faith.

Open Player Tryout – Sat., April 12th

As previously announced, Desert Dreams F.C. is seeking to include top women’s soccer players locally in its inaugural season roster.  Specifically, the team announced today it will be holding an open tryout on Saturday, April 12th at Peoria Sports Complex’s main stadium field (currently serving as the Cactus League home for both the San Diego Padres & Seattle Mariners).

Inaugural Season Kicking Off in May

Desert Dreams F.C. kicks off this summer at Peoria Sports Complex following the Cactus League season when the stadium field will transition into a soccer configuration.  The match schedule is expected to be announced by the League in late March with the season starting in May.
